Common questions

How long does a migration take?

Most complete within one business day. Large stores and multisite installs can take longer, and we give you an honest estimate before we start.

What do you need from me?

A login to your current hosting control panel, or a full backup file. That's all. You don't need to export anything yourself.

Will my site go offline?

No. Your old site stays live for the whole copy. We point your domain at the new one only after you've looked it over, and anything that looks wrong gets fixed first.

Do you move email too?

Yes: mailboxes, forwarders and autoresponders, where your old host lets us export them. Mail that lives elsewhere, such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, stays where it is. We recreate the DNS records that point to it.

Do I have to move my domain as well?

No. Your domain can stay registered where it is. We only point it at the new server. Transferring it later, or never, is your call.

Is there anything you cannot move?

Sites built on a host's own builder, such as Hostinger Website Builder, can't be exported and would need rebuilding. If that's you, we say so before you commit to anything.
