Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-12

We host small businesses, not abuse. This policy applies to every service we operate and to everyone you allow to use your account.

Prohibited at all times

  • Illegal content or activity under applicable law, including United States law and the law applicable where you operate
  • Child sexual abuse material: zero tolerance, immediate termination, and reporting to the authorities
  • Phishing, malware distribution or hosting, botnet command-and-control, or credential harvesting
  • Network abuse: port scanning, denial-of-service attacks, spoofing, or attempts to breach any system, ours or anyone else's
  • Sending unsolicited bulk email. Mailing lists must be opt-in with working unsubscribe; we apply sending limits on shared platforms to protect deliverability for everyone
  • Open relays, open resolvers, or open proxies
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other rights you do not hold
  • Cryptocurrency mining on shared hosting resources

Fair use of shared resources

Shared hosting plans are sized generously, and plans state their resource allocations. If your site legitimately outgrows its plan, that is a good problem: we will contact you with options before it affects anyone else. Deliberate circumvention of resource limits is a breach of this policy.

Enforcement

We prefer a conversation to a suspension. For most issues we contact you first and agree on a fix. Active harm to others (spam runs, phishing pages, attacks, CSAM) is suspended immediately, and the notice comes after. Repeated or unremedied breaches lead to termination under the Terms of Service, and lawful requests from law enforcement are honored.

Reporting abuse

Seen something hosted with us that should not be? Email [email protected] with the URL and what you found. A human investigates every report.
