How to point your domain to Red Water Hosting

If your domain is registered elsewhere (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.), you have two options.

Option 1: Point your nameservers at us (recommended)

In your registrar's dashboard, replace the existing nameservers with the pair shown in your welcome email. This lets us manage all your DNS records, including email, automatically.

Option 2: Point only the website (A record)

Keep your current DNS provider and change just the A record for @ and www to the server IP in your welcome email. Choose this if you have email or other services you don't want touched.

How long does it take?

DNS changes typically propagate within 15 minutes to a few hours. During a managed migration we handle this step for you at the agreed time.
